
SHIPPING POLICY
General Information
Shipping and Handling charges are based on merchandise total for each shipping address.
Orders are shipped UPS within the Continental U.S.
Please check your addresses carefully! We can not extend our guarantee to orders for which we are given an incorrect delivery address. An additional charge may be incurred if the address is corrected and delivered by UPS.
In addition, please take special care with delivery dates. Grafton Village Cheese is a perishable product. Make sure someone will be home to receive and refrigerate your package upon its arrival.
Please Note:
Orders may not be entered into our system the same day they are called in or the same day we receive it if you mail it in or use the web site. Ask for specifics of shipping when placing your order if in question. HELPFUL HINT! If typically, no one is home during the day, consider shipping your orders to your place of business.
Delivery & Deadlines
Your order will be shipped usually within 2 business days of receipt (excluding Christmas holiday season), unless otherwise requested. We ship UPS 2nd day air service (excluding New England States which can ship ground service).Order by the second wednesday of December, ship second day, and we will assure delivery for holiday arrival to any address in the 48 contigous United States. Additional shipping time should be allowed for shipments to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories. Deliveries are only made on weekdays. Due to the perishable nature of our cheddars we take special care to ensure the delivery of your cheeses in good condition. We pack each box with special insulation and gel ice as needed. During the summer months we ship orders on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to prevent our cheddar from sitting on a truck over a weekend and to ensure safe delivery.
Substitution Policy
In the event a certain gift item is out of stock, we reserve the right to substitute at an equal or greater value on our products.
Gift Message Greetings
We will relay your special greeting exactly as you wish. Type in your message in the comments section on your order form, and we will include the message with your gift.
Saved Carts & Pricing
If you have a saved shopping cart from a previous order from years past, etc., our site will NOT automatically update the pricing of the products to their current rates. We apologize for this inconvenience (we're working on changing this).
It is always best to create a new cart when purchasing a new product to reflect the most updated pricing.
