The Tradition of Cheddar
Cheese is basically milk that has been heated, coagulated, drained and molded. Cheddar cheese goes a step further - it is also aged. Known for its flavorful bite and rich, firm creaminess, cheddar was born hundreds of years ago in the county of Somerset, England, near a village named Cheddar. Today, the tradition is carried on in the United States and cheddar has become one of the world's favorite cheeses.
