Adirondack Winery used this fondue recipe at their 2010 Anniversary event and it was definitely the most popular! They served it with french bread, green apples and asparagus to dip, but plenty other veggies or fruits will do the trick as well.

This simple recipe came from my grandmother who insited on very sharp 'coon cheese'. Don't bother with the origin of the name. Grafton cheeses will give you a wonderful, sharp spread that your guests will all appreciate.

My name is John Grafton and I live in Akron, OH.  Our family is supposedly a decendent of the Duke of Grafton (England), whose real name was Augustus Henry Fitzroy.  He was Prime Minister of England in 1756, during the early stages of the Independence and supported the colonists. Needless to say, he was highly criticized and resigned after only one year as Prime Minister.   Many villages in New England were named Grafton in his honor.
